Bhujangasana : Also known as the cobra position, this position is all about lying flat on your abdomen against the floor. Now bend your back by raising your head slowly while you inhale. Remain stable in this position for a few seconds and then slowly exhale and return back to the flat position on the floor. This Asana helps in reducing stress in various areas of your body, while the breathing channelizes your mind with positive energies.
Breath Control: This stage is including all practices and techniques for breath control, respiratory processes and recognizing this as an important step. The mind, emotions and breath are connected and this part is essential for breath control.
Uttanasana : This is one the most basic and perhaps the most powerful positions to get rid of depression in Yoga. In this Asana, you have to bend forward and touch the floor with your hands while you breathe in then slowly come back to an upright position while you exhale. The head movements and breathing exercises makes it a potent technique for relaxation.
Setu Bandha Sarvangasana : In this position your body is shaped like a bridge. Start by lying on your back with your hands straight and palms faced upwards. Now fold your knees and lift your back straight up while keeping your upper body stable on the ground. This position is beneficial for your back and other core joints and muscles of your body. The position also stimulates the release of hormones, which keep you active and positive.
