Hi, I will unfortunately not be able to attend the visit to the Taj Mahal, altough I will need transport to the academy from Delhi airport on the 31th July.

    Hi Robyn!!!

Hello everyone! Unfortunately I can’t make it to Delhi until Sat 30th so I can’t make the trip before the course starts. I’ll see you all on the Sunday!

Hi everyone 😊 Did you receive the email saying the course doesn’t start now until the 3rd August to 30th?

  5. Darrion Romero said on 04-07-2016

I emailed previously asking to join the Taj Mahal trip and the transfer to Rishikesh, I would also like to join the group transfer from Rishikesh back to New Dehli at the end of the course, thank you.

      Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know I have been in contact with the academy and found out the drive from New Delhi to Rishikish is 7-8 hours drive. I have decided to fly. They also said they are waiting on conformation of who is attended the Taj Mahal trip now everything has been pushed back two days. I’m so excited to meet everyone and start this wonderful journey 😍

        Hi Robyn,

Have you looked into flights from Delhi to Rishikesh (if there is an airport!)? Any good deals?

          Hi Clair,
I have booked my flights through the travel agent. It is with Air India from New Delhi to Jolly Grant airport in Dehra Dun which is 1 hour from Rishikish. My flight leaves New Delhi 5.05pm on the 2nd August.I have emailed the yoga academy and they can arrange pick up for $35 one way (which I will do) I’m staying at the Hotel City Star in New Delhi for 2 nights before the the flight and hoping the academy are still organising the Taj Mahal trip.
I live in NSW Australia, where are you coming from?
          I’m getting quite excited…not long now :)

Hi Robyn, I’m from Scotland but I live in Spain, so I’ll be travelling from Galicia. I’ve just noticed (above on this page no.1) there is a Taj trip on Monday the 1st. I’m going to email about it now. I arrive on Sat afternoon and I’m staying at the Hotel Krishna in Paharganj. It’s a little north of the central area but the best deal I could find. I think your hotel is around the same area. If you feel like some company let me know :)

Oh! Dees anyone know what’s included in the starter pack? Is anyone brining a yoga mat??

          • Nazly said on 18-07-2016

Hi everyone! :) I will also stay at Hotel City Star in Paharganj! Looks nice to me. I’ll be there the 31th around 11am. When are you (and Clair) arriving? I will also be driven by Ajarya team the 2nd and go to Taj Mahal trip the 1st.
Meet you there!! Much love <3

        • Robyn Behan said on 21-07-2016

I don’t arrive in New Delhi on the 31st July until 9pm. We don’t need to take a yoga mat as we will be given one 😊 Looking forward to meeting everyone 💞

    Hi Clair,
I’m going to have to change my flight to an earlier one as I have just found out the opening ceremony of the 2nd August is approximately 5pm and my flight doesn’t arrive until after 6pm 😢 I’m looking forward to the Tai Mahal trip and can’t wait to meet you 😊

    • Clair said on 24-07-2016

Ah, that’s a shame Robyn. Hope it’s not too much of a hassle for you to change your flights. I emailed asking about equipment and we get a yoga mat in our starter pack :)

Hi! I will be in city hotel as well from the 31st.
Is anyone going to stay in Delhi afterwards? I don’t fly back till the 2nd of September now (had to change my flight because of the date change) and now I’m looking for where to book from the 30th to the 2nd.
I’m so excited to meet you all and learn more about yoga!
    See you soon x

    • Robyn Behan said on 23-07-2016

Hi, I’m staying at the Leela Palace in New Delhi from the 30th to the 4th as I had to change my flights also. I decided I should treat myself 😊 Looking for to this journey and meeting everyone.

    • Darrion Romero said on 24-07-2016

      Hi all!
I was wondering if anybody will be in New Dehli earlier than the Taj Mahal trip? I will be flying in on the 29th, so if anyone will be there and would like someone to keep them company, I would love to meet up early and see some of Dehli.
Look forward to meeting you all soon xo

    • Clair said on 24-07-2016

      Hi Pernille,

I’m afraid I fly straight home. The idea was to spend a few days in Delhi after the course but with the date shift I now need to leave straight after the course finishes. I’m not sure when the drop off is to Delhi but my flight is Wed morning. I may need to book a hotel on the Tues when we finish the course.

OK! So far, I see Robyn, Pernille, Darrion, Toussaint and Nazly.

I’m hoping to visit a few places of interest on Sat and Sun and would love it if you could all join me. I’d like to visit the Bahai Lotus temple, Qutub Minar, the Lodi Gardens, Swaminarayan Akshardham, and sights more central like one of the markets and Connaught Place. It’s also important I get some chill time in as life has been crazy, particularly this month. Ambitious I know, but if I can get 2/3 of my list ticked off I’ll be happy. If anyone would like to join me, get in touch. Do you guys use whatsapp or fb messanger? I think it would be a good way to communicate on the Saturday and Sunday (if you want to meet up that is).

Have a wee think and get in touch.
Take care all and see you soon.
